If you can read the print off to the lower left in the movie clipboard, we took Jessica to Disneyland on June 9, 2000.  That was nineteen years ago.  Or I guess you could say it was almost 2 decades ago!

Janet, Jessica and I experienced the incredible imagination of Walt Disney. We spent a glorious day and for that matter, a week, in Huntington Beach, California!

It’s amazing how time flies and seasons pass; fall, winter, spring and summer.

We venture into the fall when leaves change with wondrous colours and comfortable temperatures. Then winter with the cold and most uncomfortable to me, the days of darkness. We arise in the dark to go to work and we go home in the dark.

Winters are full of unpredictable weather, snow, cold, freezing rain and sometimes sunshine.

Spring though is a joyful time. The greenery from the fitful winter brings us back to life; daffodils, tulips and just the smell of grass. Plus the days get longer.

It’s a joyous time, and it’s so nice to see the green returning today.

Summer is a time to enjoy life with my companions Milo and Acer, just sitting on a deck reading a great novel.

Seasons are captivating. We sit on a deck and watch a tree. In spring, the leaves emerge and in summer they are full a burst. In fall they turn colour and in winter they go to sleep.  The cycles the tree goes through remind us of the cycle of life, and hopefully make us grateful to enjoy each day.
